Who we are

Hi there, my name is Gerrard Wake and I am the podiatrist here at The Hutt Foot Clinic. I operate under the Podiatrists Board Principles and Standards and have been a practising, Board-Registered Podiatrist with the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand for over 23 years. I graduated from WelTec in 2002 with a BHSc (Podiatry).

I am a ACC-registered provider, and are able to treat your injury under a ACC claim or can lodge a new accident claim on your behalf. I am an active member of Podiatry NZ, and are a specialist in diabetic treatment and wound care.

I get a real sense of achievement from helping my clients improve and regain their mobility. I firmly believe that good mobility is a key foundation for living well and my goal here is to help my clients stay mobile, active and get them back on their feet as soon as possible. I look forward to helping you. Let’s make this happen!

Gerrad is a long-time Wellingtonian, attending Hato Paora College in Porirua and later settling down in the Hutt Valley with his wife and two children. He is a keen golfer and are a long time member at the Boulcott Farm Golf Club.
